A second sculpture trail has been unveiled in Stryisky Park (Lviv), created as part of the activities of the ‘Chervone Chorne’ creative collective. The installation and the official opening of the trail took place in October 2025 during the ‘Lviv Sculpture Week’ festival.
The route features 12 monumental works created by Ukrainian and international artists as part of the Kaniv International Sculpture Symposium between 2011 and 2021. The sculptures are exhibited outdoors along a picturesque avenue of plane trees, creating a space for dialogue between art, nature and the city.
Among the works on display are four by Oleksandr Dyachenko (Ukraine), as well as works by Illia Novgorodov (Ukraine), Vasyl Tatarskyi (Ukraine), Vincent Bofis-Urdigas (France), Lien Chin Ho (Taiwan), Alessio Ranaldi (Italy), Yurii Bagalika (Ukraine), Thomas Oliva (USA) and Joni Gogaberishvili (Georgia).
This project is a continuation of the first sculpture route, created in 2023. The creative collective ‘Chervone Chorne’ and the Yurii Stashkiv Foundation are working consistently to ensure that contemporary art integrates organically into the urban landscape, becoming part of the public space in Ukrainian cities.
