Our two new books, published by the art platform KrasneChorne, are a continuation of a certain opposition that arose during the work on the projects “Flight” and “Ghost of Freedom”. These are not catalogs and not art albums, but rather another representation of the themes that we tried to approach in our works. “Flight” is about movement and freedom: “Hidden movement somewhere in the depths is always a movement with many beginnings and ends, repetitions, overlays, turns in the opposite direction, and delays in one place. One can agree that during the movement towards things, that is, between the word and the thing, the act finds a place for itself. In the zone of relative visibility are the starting and ending points — thought and embodiment, but everything in between is obscured, obscure, does not fall into the field of view of the external surveillance camera.”
